Get to Know Me
From a young age I loved to draw, paint, and create art. I took Yearbook class in high school and absolutely fell in love with photography! I earned my Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Shortly after, I met my husband and he convinced me to be a science teacher alongside him. I enjoyed teaching until the birth of our son, Wayde. However, I never forgot about my love for art and photography!
When I'm not behind the camera, you will likely find me outside! I enjoy running, walking along the beach, surfing, paddle boarding, hiking, backpacking, and exploring playgrounds with Wayde.
Why Photography?
Like listening to an old favorite song or the familiar smell of a family recipe, pictures have the power to transport us back to a specific moment in time. After the experience passes and the memories fade, pictures are there to help you relive special moments that might have otherwise been forgotten. Pictures serve as a reminder of the beautiful experiences we have been blessed with in our lives. It brings me great joy to be behind the camera capturing your memories.
