Get to Know Me

My love of photography began in high school yearbook class and grew when I became a mom. After trading teaching biology and health for raising my children, I found myself capturing every milestone and rarely appearing in any photos myself. That inspired me to help others get in the frame and preserve the moments that will turn into their treasured memories.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me walking along Cabrillo, running, surfing, hiking, or exploring nature with my family (my happy place) with my camera pretending I'm Ansel Adams.

Why Photography?

Like listening to an old favorite song or the familiar smell of a family recipe, pictures have the power to transport us back to a specific moment in time. After the experience passes and the memories fade, pictures are there to help us relive special moments that might have otherwise been forgotten. It preserves the big milestones, the little details, and the personalities that make your family yours—silly faces included. Pictures serve as a reminder of the beautiful experiences we have been blessed with in our lives. It brings me great joy to be behind the camera capturing your future memories that you can revisit for years to come.
